The UC Davis Men’s Soccer team has made a habit of scoring quick goals this season, and none have come faster than RSF Attack & Saints Alum Jake Haupt.
Jake worked hard during the pre-season and earned the starting right-back position as a freshman, helping anchor the Aggies’ stingy back line.
On Sept 3 vs Cal State Bakersfield, Jake scored the fastest goal so far this season, putting the ball in the back of the net at the 6:13 mark.
DON’T BLINK: Or you might miss an Aggie goal. When Mickelson scored just 7:13 into last week’s win over UC Santa Barbara, it marked the fifth time this season that the Aggies have scored in the first 10 minutes of a match and the third-fastest goal scored by a UC Davis player this season. Freshman Jake Haupt (6:13 vs. CSU Bakersfield), Matt Baringer (6:14 vs. LMU), and Kyle Higgins (7:30 vs. San Francisco and 8:02 vs. LMU), all join Mickelson in the club for 2017.
