Attacking College :: Jaime Fournier starting in goal for Palomar College

Jaime Fournier, Canyon Crest Academy class of 2017, has earned the starting goalkeeping position at Palomar College in San Diego, California.

Jaime finished his first year at Palomar with an impressive 3.8 GPA while carrying an academically rigorous course load. His goal is to transfer to a four-year mens soccer program and study civil engineering.

Attacking College :: Abby Prager to Lewis and Clark College

Goalkeeper Abby Prager will be playing her college soccer at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

Abby led her Attack G99 Elite team to impressive showcase wins in Las Vegas, and was the starting varsity goalkeeper for Mt. Carmel High School all four years.

Her senior year, she was named Palomar League Player of the Year.  With Abby in goal, the Mt. Carmel Sundevils won the school’s first ever girls’ soccer San Diego CIF championship in 2018.

Attacking College: Sean O’Callaghan to Gallaudet University

B98 Academy III alumni and Del Norte HS class of 2017 Sean O’Callaghan is playing his college soccer at NCAA DIII Gallaudet University in Washington D.C.  As a true freshman, Sean has earned the starting spot at center-back for the Bison.

Attacking College: Nick Giacalone to LMU

2016-b98web-009Nick Giacalone, Attack B98 and Cathedral Catholic class of 2017, has verbally committed to play his college soccer at NCAA D1 Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles California.

Giacalone follows teammate Derik Engebretsen to the West Coast Conference.  Engebretsen played his freshman year on the roster at Saint Mary’s College of California.

Attacking College: Matt Schumacher to Cal Baptist

lanceupMatthew Schumacher, Maranatha Christian Schools class of 2017 and midfielder for RSF Attack B98 Academy, has verbally committed to join the Cal Baptist Men’s Soccer 2017 recruiting class.  The Lancers compete in the PacWest Conference of NCAA Division II.

Matt follows 2016 Maranatha & Attack player Isaac Schwann to the PacWest. Schwann is currently on the roster at CBU’s rival Azusa Pacific University.  CBU vs APU rivalry games are sure to be exciting over the next few years as the two Attack and Maranatha alumni face off for their respective universities.
